Rachel leads an awesome followup with all the MSNBC folks we know and love, to the events of today's January 6th 'surprise hearing' 😊
Former aide to Trump's Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Cassidy Hutchinson, really shook things up as she both testified live and from prerecorded video about Trump so badly wanting to join his rioters at the Capitol that he tried to grab the steering wheel of the SUV he was in and then lunged at the throat of the Secret Service guy in the right seat who had grabbed Trump's arm away from the steering wheel. There was apparently quite a lot of yelling and cursing, but somebody, probably the Secret Service head, said no to Trump and the Deep State got their way 😊
The most damning revelation from Ms Hutchinson was that Trump knew full well many of his followers were armed because they stayed outside the metal detectors, and Trump wanted them removed. Whether they were or not we didn't learn, but probably not. Regardless, Trump know he was provoking violence and that's that. He's guilty.
The only thing missing from Rachel's excellent show is overlooking Ms Hutchinson's testimony about Trump throwing dishes of food in the White House in anger, which was hilarious and exactly what to expect from a narcissistic drama queen. Maybe they left that topic for Trevor Noah and other comedians to cover? 😊
